At minimum, we would recommend a total coliform/E. coli test, which is a basic potability test and the cost is $45. Another option if you want more information is the Routine Chemical and Physical group which is $275. It covers several major household contaminants including total coliform/E. coli, color, turbidity, odor, pH, conductivity, hardness, nitrate, iron, manganese, chloride, sulfate, sodium, fluoride, and arsenic.
